This looks like so much fun. My hubby used to be a skier, but I never got into it - posts like this though, makes me want to try again (or maybe I'll just keep the pool warm while they ski :D )

I have to add that I always love coming here to see what your family has been up to - it is so apparent that you all truly love each other, and love each other's company, its such a special and rare thing these days.

Spots of Time

  • There are in our existence spots of time, which with distinct preeminence retain a renovating virtue...a virtue [that] enables us to mount when high, more high, and lifts us up when fallen. Such moments, worthy of gratitude are scattered everywhere...Life with me, as far as memory can look back, is full of this beneficent influence. - William Wordsworth, The Prelude

  • I’m a former archeologist turned mom/wife/editor who is always on the lookout for the next big adventure. I was born and raised in Oklahoma but have grown to love the life we have found living in beautiful New England. I do miss our friends and families though, so I started this blog back in 2006 to try to bridge the distance as I share a little bit about our lives on the East Coast. Whether it’s exploring the streets of Manhattan, hiking through the rainforest, or cheering from the sidelines of a soccer game, I’m always trying to keep up with our family’s comings and goings.
